Amazing Lanai

Lanai is next. It is the sixth smallest island in Hawaii. It is nicknamed the “pineapple Island” because of its past when the people on the island used to grow pineapples. They are famous for their pineapples. To celebrate this precious fruit, they have festivals and have landmarks named after the pineapple. Did you know that Lanai is only 140.5 square miles? That is almost four times smaller than Oahu. That would be something good to compare and write about in your paper. Even though it is small compared to Oahu, it is still the 42nd largest Island in the United States. Lanai is also a very stunning place, but it is not very widely visited among tourists. Why you ask? It is because there are only two main hotels present on the island and the beaches don’t seem to be very near the hotels. However, it is a very pretty place to live.
The first picture is of a hotel resort in Lanai with the pineapple logo to represent the importance of pineapples on that island. The second one is also of a hotel resort in Lanai, the third picture is of a Lanai map, and the fourth is of a shoreline in Lanai.
