Magnificent Molokai

Molokai- Here we are at our next stop in Molokai. This is the fifth largest island of the eight and is 260 square miles. That is only a little bit bigger than Lanai. Did you know that Molokai is known as the “friendly isle” but is the least developed of the eight islands? Another cool fact you might want to know is that Molokaʻi is constructed from two distinct volcanoes known as East Molokaʻi and the much smaller West Molokaʻi. The highest point of the island is called Kamakou and it is located on the East Moloka’i. It is a fun place to go and visit because of the beautiful sight seen from the top. The island is known to have very good Hawaiian fish ponds along its south shore. We will stop to look at the ponds during this trip so you can write down some things you may want to write about in your paper. Unfortunately, this island doesn’t have a ton of things to see and do, so we are going to move on to our next island; Kauai.
